New 2009: INTENSIVE SKATE LESSONS FOR ONLY £1

We are aware that many of our intermediate and advance skaters are interested in improving their overall skating ability. Therefore the ESA will now be delivering intensive 30 minute lessons before every indoor skate session. The courses will be divided into 3 lessons and the courses will range from learning how to skate backwards to an array of different and advance skating skills.

Please note that lessons will start promptly at 4:30pm on Sundays and 7:30pm on Fridays therefore skaters must be kitted up and ready for then. Please note that all skaters must wear all appropriate safety equipment which includes wrist guards and helmet. This can be borrowed from the ESA however limited numbers are available.

The cost of the lessons will only be £1 for our regular skaters and £1.50 for those just interested in the lessons. If you are keen on taking up this great offer then please register with us either during our indoor sessions or by email.
The courses truly offer fantastic value and reinforces our aims in providing affordable and quality services to our local community.

The ESA aims to have an additional 4-6 ICP instructor by the middle of the year for the benefit of our existing and future ESA members.

We've got a New 2009 Intense Skate Course here.
Let's just run through it one more time...
30 minute lessons before every indoor skate session,
learning how to skate backwards to an array of different and advance skating skills,
start promptly at 4:30pm on Sundays and 7:30pm on Fridays,
£1 for our regular skaters and £1.50 for those just interested in the lessons,
and the ESA aims to have an additional 4-6 ICP instructors

(This could be the extra skate training we all need couldn't it?!)

Thanks paul biggrin.gif I thought a had better post something soon!

Yeh you really must move here, Eastbourne in general is great for skating the ESA just made it better tongue.gif

I helped out on one of the skate lessons on sunday and had a good time teaching,
although it does make you think about how to skate properly! you start to think about all your bad habbits!

It will be good to see more people joining in, its a good oppertunity.

Oh this is interesting.
I never knew this about you.
It probably explains why you're so full on when skating - a lot of effort, power and drive.
If you know what I mean?

I think dislecsic, or dyslexia is to do with reading words...
n.
A learning disorder marked by impairment of the ability to recognize and comprehend written words.

- I use to have a problem with talking too fast and stuttering.
I only do that now when I'm nervous.

So when i spell dislecsia I dont think to put a y in the front if you know what i mean
I also have a problem when im talking, i cant find the right word to say to explain what it is im trying to say, I dont think its a recognised condition im just dumb lol biggrin.gif

Oh no Hannah, you shouldn't say that.
Now I'm looking like a demon to put you in this situation.
But maybe you've still yet to find what you're better at that most people find difficult?
- I'm not accusing you for being numpty.
- I am?!!!!
- I was Tony*&%$£???!!!!!!

Ignore anything I post in the ESA forum Hannah.
It's just not worthwhile reading what I post sometimes

Let get back to this topics.
Can we say it is so far a complete success.
And perhaps too good for it's own good because of the high level of turn out.
I thought it was way over capacity.

Yeah absolutely - I was amazed at how many people were there on Friday. Grand Job tongue.gif

But going with what Tony said about over capacity - it did seem that tempers were running little short. mad.gif

Yeh well im not sure how many people were there for the disco but it was very busy, dont get me wrong it good but somtimes people get annoyed because theres not much room to skate but you just have to be carfull ph34r.gif

Hopefully as the weeks progress we shall have lots more people doing the lessons which means you will have to dodge a few more people, its all good fun really LOL biggrin.gif ph34r.gif

Thanks for your compliment Callum the marshalls are doing really well biggrin.gif
