The Friday session is on every Friday from 8-9pm.
The session is designed to increase skating confidence by providing free skate hire to adults and free skating tuition from qualified skating instructors.

Cost:

£2.50 Adult = Includes Free Skate Hire, Free safety equipment & Free skate tuition.

£1.50 Children= For this session all children must be accompanied by a skating adult.

Please note the session is limited to a small number of skaters to ensure that plenty of room is available for our less confident skaters.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The new friday adult only skate sessions are soon to be starting and I think this new session will be a great place for all our adults to skate without the pressence of little kids zooming around there feet!! It will also give people a chance to learn new things that they would not have had space to learn in the other sessions, for example stopping, going backwards more confidently, speed and of course any thing you want to try your hand at, or should I say skates at!! laugh.gif

We hope that you will take part in this session and let us know what you think about it? biggrin.gif

Let's not fight over me again!
Heaven help me.
(I knew getting those Seba High Carbon was gonna make me too much of a stud skater!)

- Ah Hannah's a good stunt woman.
Risking her life and limbs, and (not to mention ESA Marshall's reputation)
I had my eyes down for that brief moment and messed it.
A lot of people around me got excited about it.
Can someone paint me picture of what happened to her?
Did she fall so far back, landed on her head then bounced onto her bum?!
I'm guessing...

For those who missed my spectacular fall on sunday ie Tony! I was playing skate across, and doing quite well tongue.gif Turned a couple of really tight turns and got away then I whent to turn again but stood too upright and put too much pressure on my heel and so I did a cool spin on one foot! and then landed on my hand followed by my bum!! My wrist is still quite painfull but I thought it was a really cool fall!! biggrin.gif hence the name ninja style falling tongue.gif

Might I add that this is the first time I have fallen over like that for a long time biggrin.gif

Just need new wheels now, I seam to have taken chunks out of my current ones its not good unsure.gif

What made me laugh Hannah, was how as soon as you went down, you had a gaggle of marshals pounce on you to tag you lol.

No seriously Hannah, the way you skate.
I worry about you sometimes.
You got to get some of those knee pads and wrist guards.
Better protect yourself

Nah, I still need them myself Rhyzla.
It was only a few months ago I stopped using the wrist guards indoors.
I felt I was ready, wasn't falling over as much, knew how far I could push it.
The knee pads is kept on - always, always, always?!
It's not worth the pain you get out of an injury

Thanks for worrying Tony but im made of harder stuff! yeh I have bruised knees contantly but Iv gotten used to it and my right knee is currently numb so I dont feel it as much now laugh.gif however I dont fall over as often as I used to do I just seam to fall with a big bang and it looks spectacular as well as painfull ph34r.gif hence my signature lol

Although you dont learn how far you can push yourself if you dont try tongue.gif
I always say that if you dont fall over your not a good skater!!!! so dont worry bout that Ian lol even the best of us fall over!?!?!
